Car shipping concerns

Shipping Your Car Can Be Confusing. Who Can I Trust?

Are you shipping your car?  Is the proposition daunting?  Do you have concerns about who will be hauling your auto?  Brokers are necessary in auto hauling because they have access to thousands of trucking companies.  Finding a trucking company that is operating along the route you require at the time you require it is all but impossible.  Enter the broker.

Can I really trust a Broker?

How do you know the broker is not more interested in their own wallet than making sure your vehicle is on a reputable carrier with a solid reputation, sufficient insurance, and the appropriate authority from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to be entrusted to carry your vehicle?  Remember, the Broker is not on the hook for any damage.  That unfortunate event rests squarely on the carrier.

What Makes Transpicuous Logistics Different?

At Transpicuous Logistics we go the extra mile to ensure the carriers working for us are fully vetted.  We dig into not only the insurance, but also what SAFER, the DOT and the FMCSA have to say about the carriers we do business with.  Some 30% of the carriers that attempt to haul for us never make the cut.  Safety and the fine care of your automobile is our primary concern.

In Depth Vetting

If you are talking to carriers on your own, do you know who you are talking to?  Do you know the carrier’s safety rating, how much insurance they have?  Do you know how to even find out?  This industry is wrought with not only unscrupulous brokers, but also unscrupulous carriers and dispatchers presenting insurance on a legitimate carrier but putting your vehicle with an individual that may not even have appropriate insurance or is not authorized to haul.  This practice is especially bad with carriers operating out of South Florida.  Call Transpicuous and find out how we are better than the rest.
